Meet Dr. Neha Khanolkar
Choosing an Artistic Career
Dr. Neha (pronounced nay’ ha) Khanolkar grew up in Plano and always knew she wanted to work with her hands and be creative. At one point, she even considered being an illustrator for Disney or Pixar. At a visit with her own dentist, she mentioned that she wanted to pursue a career that would allow her to work with her hands. Her dentist suggested dentistry, explaining that there is an art to creating perfect teeth and smiles.
Intrigued, Dr. Neha shadowed her dentist and discovered that she loved working with people and building relationships, as well as the artistic aspect of care. She obtained her dental education at Texas A&M College of Dentistry, receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2019.
Family Care
Dr. Neha has worked in general dentistry clinics, as well as a clinic that specializes in pediatrics before opening The Dental Grove. She is comfortable with children and enjoys caring for every member of the family. Dr. Neha is a member of the following:
- American Dental Association (ADA)
- Texas Dental Association (TDA)
- Dallas County Dental Society
- American Association of Cosmetic Dentistry
Creating Confidence
Dr. Neha loves educating patients about the role they can take in creating lasting oral health. But no matter how diligent a patient may be, there are instances where a tooth can be broken or lost. In those cases, Dr. Neha finds it rewarding to restore a person’s smile—and their confidence. Having pride in your smile has been proven to increase self-confidence, and we want that for all of our patients!
Away From the Office
Dr. Neha shares her artistic skill by teaching children how to draw and paint. Much of the artwork in our office is her own. She loves traveling and visiting national parks, and she takes a vacation with her parents and sister every year. Dr. Neha is also passionate about cooking and baking.
